Syarief Basir

Syarief Basir has more than 25 years of experience working for accounting firms. His career as an auditor and business advisor was started when he took a job as Indonesian government audit officer at the Financial and Development Supervisory Board (Badan Pengawasan Keuangan and Pembangunan - BPKP) in 1984, before continuing to develop his career further at Darmawan Accounting Office (member of Touche Ross International), and then KAP Amir Abadi Jusuf (member of RSM International). He has also worked as a management consultant at Michigan Small Business Development Center, Mt Pleasant, Michigan, USA and a lawyer at a law office (Kantor Hukum SBR Partner).

Syarief Basir is also active in a number of professional organizations, such as the Board of the Professional Standards of Public Accountants (where he served as Deputy Chairman in 2003-2008), Indonesian Institute of Accountants (where he was a member of Ethic Committee in 2007-2010). Besides these accountants organizations, he is also Tax Attorney listed as a member of Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia - Peradi) and Indonesian Society of Appraisers (Masyarakat Profesi Penilai Indonesia - MAPPI).

His educational qualifications include an MBA degree from Central Michigan University, USA, Magister Management from PPM Graduate School of Management, Jakarta, and the Master of Law degree from Pembangunan Nasional Veteran University, Jakarta. His degree in Accounting was obtained from Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi Negara (STAN), Jakarta and his Bachelor of Law degree was also obtained from Pembangunan Nasional Veteran University, Jakarta.

On the professional certification side, Syarief Basir has earned the Certified Public Accountant designation from Indonesian Institute of Public Accountants and the Chartered Accountant designation from Indonesian Institute of Accountants. He is currently a member of Indonesian Institute of Public Accountants and Indonesian Institute of Accountants.

Ahmad Sapudin started his career as an auditor and management consultant in 1998 when he joined Russell Bedford SBR. His impressive performance has rewarded him with the promotion to the position of audit manager within a short period of time, where he was responsible for coordinating complicated audit assignments. After obtaining the CPA designation from Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ahmad Sapudin was appointed as a partner audit and assurance service of Russell Bedford SBR.

Since 2013, Ahmad Sapudin has been active as a member of the Committee for the Assistance and Implementation of Professional Standards (Komite Asistensi dan Implementasi Standar Profesi) of Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. His main responsibility at Indonesian Institute of Public Accountants is to prepare the guidelines for the implementation of the professional standards, code of conduct and quality control system of public accountants. He often attends Russell Bedford International conferences and workshops held overseas.

Ahmad Sapudin obtained his accountant designation from Padjajaran University, Bandung, and his bachelor degree in Accounting from Mercu Buana University, Jakarta. In addition to earning the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) designation from Indonesia Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he has also obtained the Chartered Accountant designation from Indonesian Institute of Accountants. He is currently a member of Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Indonesian Institute of Accountants.

Tubagus Arief Prima

Tubagus Arief Prima has worked in the field of audit and accounting for more than ten years. TB Arief joined Russell Bedford SBR in 2004 and became a partner in 2015.

He specializes in all areas of financial auditing and reporting. He provides clients with a variety of services to support budgeting, operational management, corporate planning, and financial analysis. TB Arief is responsible for the development and implementation of firm’s vision and strategy.

TB Arief obtained his accountant designation from STIE YKPN, Jogyakarta, and his bachelor degree in Accounting from the same university. In addition to earning the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from Indonesia Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he has also obtained the Chartered Accountant designation from Indonesian Institute of Accountants. He is currently a member of Indonesia Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Indonesian Institute of Accountants.
